The Jury Meeting, held on 27th December 2013 at – Marigold Business Centre, J W Marriott, Juhu, Mumbai, witnessed the jury excited and gladly surprised as they saw numerous entries ready to be rated and eventually nominated. The nominations has concluded for the 25 categories and the gates are already open since January 1 2014 for the public online voting. The optical fraternity seems to be excited as this event will take the industry to a newer level and shall tap into the immense potential that has been explored only outside India.
Mr Hemanth Manay is a part of an esteemed panel of experts, who meticulously shortlisted the nominees for the awards amongst several entries that had poured in. He was elated about the initiative and exhibited immense confidence about the ideals that it represent. While congratulating the team on the effort and hardwork to make VP Awards a reality, he also encouraged every member of the fraternity to vote.
VP Awards initiative by FourPlus Media opens an informal, yet inclusive, channel of communication from the opticians to the distributors and brands, bridging all previous gaps. It is aimed at recognising the efforts and achievements of some of the most successful personalities and business houses of the Indian optical fraternity.
