Beijing Gears Up To Host 28th Edition Of CIOF

The 28th China International Optics Fair (CIOF) is a platform for displaying the latest worldwide and Chinese cutting-edge optical products and technology attended by buyers from all over the world

CIOF 2015 is the optical industry’s largest annual trade show in Asia. Scheduled to take place in the second week of September in Beijing at the China InternationalExhibition Center, the three day exhibition will see leading brands display a range of global optical products.The display will include spectacle frames, sunglasses, contact lenses, visual test equipment, machinery and raw materials for making spectacle frames and lenses to instruments for optometry and ophthalmology, optical shop fittings as well as optical software.  Apart from this, the exhibition will also include new product launches, knowledge based seminar and other options for the attendees.

rsz_dsc03672Organised by the China Optometric & Optical Association, a national organisation supervising the retail, manufacturing, processing and also import and export of optical products and equipments in China under supervision of the State Economic & Trade Commission (SETC), and the China Light Industrial Corporation for Foreign Economic & Technical Co-operation (CLETC), a national foreign economic cooperation and trade enterprise, CIOF is industry-wide recognised and Asia’s most sizeable and influential optical exhibition. The one of its kind optical exhibition is China is endorsed by the Ministry of Commerce of China as one of the 108 recognised distinguished events, a list reviewed annually, and one of the best ten exhibitions recognised by the China National Light Industry Council. This exhibition also enjoys the rare honour of being recognised by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Commerce.

Last year there were a total of 804 exhibitors from twenty-two countries and regions, including 237 international and 567 Chinese exhibitors, displaying 275 global and 915 Chinese domestic brands in a mega gross exhibition area of 55,000 square metres. This year too the organisers have received an overwhelming response from both existing and new exhibitors. So far, 208 international companies with 251 global brands sailing from 21 countries and regions have confirmed to attend the event. These include big names like Charops, Chrome Hearts, Davidoff, DIA, Dunhill, ED Hardy, Escada, Essilor, Guy Laroche, Hoya, Hummer, Jaguar, just to name a few.
