Dutz Eyewear Presents 2016 Spring/Summer Collection

The collection sees distinctive design, trendy shapes and a beautiful range of colours

At the doorstep of 2016 Dtuz Eyewear comes out with its spring/summer 2016 collection. The collection bridges the gap between standard and fashionable frames by adding distinctive and colourful details in a subtle way: often seen on the inside of the frames and sometimes on the outside. The collection basically says ‘have fun with colours’ while it offers a broad range of frames for men, women and children, from 8 to 88 years of age. It includes women’s and men’s models as well as unisex models, a kid’s collection and a collection for trendy teenagers.

GEEK CHIC

Retro square and circular shapes with a strong vintage feel were showcased in many runway shows. The Dutz designers have successfully managed to give them a fresh makeover for the spring/summer collection. Round shapes with wood inspired DZ588patterns. Havana prints combined with bold colours and panto shapes and metal squares in bright colour blocking combinations all achieve a sense of edgy sophistication. Of course, tortoiseshell acetate and prints arguably remain the ultimate nod to timeless collegiate style-geek chic. Models DZ588, 592 and 2164 add for a new interpretation of the classic tortoiseshell with a Dutz twist.

BLAST FROM THE PAST

Impossible glamorous and always chic are the cat-eye frames. The have been given an upgrade this season with modern touches and crisp colours. Spring papaya, Spearmint green, royal blue, fiesta red and orange.

RETRO CHIQUE

DZ584A striking addition to the spring/summer 2016 collection is model DZ584. Featuring the top half in wood inlay, the remainder of the frame is finished in luxurious black leather. The leather and wood materials are ultimately kept extremely thin to maintain a sleek profile. A retro chique addition to the ‘wood is in our roots’ collection.

STRIKING STRIPES

Stripes were the ultimate trend during the New York Fashion Week spring/summer 2016. So Dutz eyewear will be seeing them everywhere this season: from swirly and bold to irregular and DZ2162unconventional. Stripes in compelling colour combinations and linear patterns infused the collections for the summer season with visual vibrancy. Many designers opted for the graphic patterns in their collections. The Dutz designers have tapped into this graphic trend to inject the men’s collection with irresistible appeal this season.

Tribal patterns have become a worldwide phenomenon over the past years. Aztec prints were in vogue last season and are carrying on with full steam this 2016 spring-summer season. The bold shapes, the unique color combinations and the collaboration between patterns all contribute to the popularity behind this trend. For some fun in the sun the Dutz designers have selected a funky Aztec print acetate for model DK133. A spirited summer look for girls!

SO DUTZ FOR TODDLERS

DUTZ_KIDZ_3Toddlers can also be So Dutz! At the request of many opticians, Dutz designers have paid special attention to the very youngest, who often have difficulty finding a frame that fits. Dutz has incorporated two petite models in this spring/ summer collection: lens size 39-40 in bright summer colors! Tiny toddlers can now be trendy and so Dutz just like their older brothers and sisters!
