Shajan Adolph is the new speaker for the programme (40+ Customers: Your Key To A Successful Practice)
of VP Academy (in association with Essilor) to be held in New Delhi on July 28, 2018, at Vivanta By Taj!
A happy optometrist, as he refers to himself. Shajan Adolph is currently heading the Education and Professional Services for India at Essilor. He has also handled the marketing and sales division at Essilor covering three regions: India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
With almost 20 years of experience in the Optical Industry, Shajan has worked as an Optometrist for low vision services. He holds a fellowship in Optometry from LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad.
Not just that, he has also worked with Bausch & Lomb in the capacity of the Professional Services Manager, Customer Service, and Relationship Manager as well as Area Sales Manager where he handled both contact lenses and IOLs.
Since the year 2005, he has been working with Essilor and that too closely with Optoms, Ophthals and Opticians while contributing in their business. His articles have been printed in many editorial magazines and optical journals. Apart from that, Shajan happens to know 5 languages!
We believe, he is the right man to help our optician friends on how to understand the needs of a demanding customer and fulfilling them.
What will Shajan be covering in his course?
To get the practitioner to understand various progressive additional spectacle lens designs and a functional indication of each design and its enhancements like coatings and material options. On completion of the course, the practitioner will have an understanding of the right kind of progressive lens design and enhancement for a given prescription and explain the same to address the functional needs of the customer.
