The options for opticians in India are innumerable. They will now have access to international quality of eyewear and brands that their customers demand — and undoubtedly the optical business in India is set to soar.

In its second edition, VisionPlus EXPO 2022 is raising the bar with its state-of-the-art arrangements. Participations are pouring in and many of the industry biggies have already confirmed their presence. Buyers visiting this year’s expo will get a chance to check out the latest offerings by leading brands across categories. The visitors have so much to look forward to at this — India's very own International event.

In the eyewear business, the words ‘cutting edge’ are usually reserved for lens technology and instruments & equipment or lab machinery. But this definition is set to get an all-new meaning at the VisionPlus EXPO 2022!

Showcasing The 'Cutting-Edge' Line-Up!

Andy Wolf, ANY DI, VAVA Eyewear, and ROLF are among the stellar line-up of 'cutting edge' brands at this year's VisionPlus EXPO set to impress visitors with their chic portfolio.

For the uninitiated, ANDY WOLF started as an idea between two friends Andreas Pirkheim (better known as Andy) and Wolfgang Scheucher (the Wolf in their name). ANDY WOLF EYEWEAR started small, but with a big vision – of combining local and traditional eyewear craftsmanship with contemporary, innovative design.

The brand is characterised by dedication. This dedication comes from the people behind the brand – everyone puts
their heart and soul into their work, and everyone is committed to what started with the vision of combining local, traditional eyewear craftsmanship with contemporary, innovative design.

Today the whole of the ANDY WOLF creative team drafts, designs, builds, and assembles with enthusiasm until a piece of ANDY WOLF eyewear is perfect – in terms of its fit, material, and style. Each piece of eyewear is handmade, and all the materials are the best of their kind. They guarantee impeccable quality, which you can feel in each of their darling frames.

Another stellar in this line-up is ANY DI. This brand does not make eyewear. What they do, is make eyewear interesting — with their design-patented SunCover – a unique glasses cover that is not only beautiful but also extremely practical as a bag tag – setting new standards in luxury accessories.

The SunCover draws everyone’s attention with its numerous and expressive designs. Thanks to the leather hanger and the delicate carabiner, the SunCover can easily be attached to anything, be it a belt, bag or backpack. The metal elements with 24 carat real gold plating and the high-quality workmanship create cult status.

VAVA eyewear is an invitation to the world to participate in a forward-thinking movement ensuring that the word sustainability gets a new meaning.

VAVA seeks to foster a dialogue between crafts and high-tech, using the most advanced technologies. A techno product that, at the same time, embodies the experience, knowledge and art of the great masters of handmade eyewear. This approach, combined with the use of the highest quality materials, makes VAVA unique.

ROLF makes eyewear made of seeds! We are not joking! Working with plants is nothing new for the masters of wooden glasses. Their latest natural material is taken from a species of the Euphorbiaceae family and has proved itself to be a competent all-rounder. It has opened up a wealth of new possibilities for ROLF and as a material, its sustainability credentials are particularly impressive.

ROLF Spectacles are handmade in Tyrol. Grounded and bonded strongly with nature, all workers move along the same path. Surrounded by an incredible backdrop, every product radiates the energy of nature.

The Best In Ophthalmic Lenses
ZEISS - the global leader in lens innovation is likely to display its new launches in addition to its already exhaustive portfolio.

Then we also have VisionRx, one of the largest ophthalmic Rx lens manufacturers in Asia, on board this year's expo.

Besides these, we have OptiSwiss and Tokai Optecs N.V — leading lens manufacturers that have an interesting line-up for this year’s event. Clearly, the visitors have so much to look forward to at this year’s event.

The Coolest Of Contact Lenses
Jowoon Innovation is a newcomer that has come on-board for this year’s event. They are a young Korean company who will be showcasing their expertise in contact lens manufacturing at this year’s event - they will showcase brands like Chic View, Oxygen View, RURUVi and O2 view.

Avizor Eyecare Solutions from Spain will present Eye Clean Plus, and Supervision Optimax from Malaysia will be showcasing their AVEO brand of contact lenses.

The Latest In Instruments, Equipment and Machinery
Like in the previous edition, ZEISS will have the latest innovations on display to help enhance the experience for any consumer visiting optical stores. Precision takes on a whole new meaning here.

The MEI and Schneider booths, again are something that should not be missed.

MEI would be highlighting their highly popular EasyFit trend. Born from MEI’s experience in manufacturing lens edging machines, the EasyFit Trend is the new block-less compact solution tailored for optical shops and small labs. This new edger represents a further breakthrough for the field with its unique features, including MILLING TECHNOLOGY for extreme precision; DRY CUT to cut lenses without water; NO BLOCK to eliminate the use of blocks and pads. And the best part is that all this can be accomplished without an inspection process before and after the edging.

Schneider too would be presenting their range of superior ophthalmic lens processing solutions. In 1993 SCHNEIDER had the vision to manufacture individual lenses based on freely definable mathematical descriptions leading to a worldwide paradigm change. Following its Fascination for Innovation, SCHNEIDER represents the number one full solution provider. Ranging from single machines to highly integrated cognitive manufacturing systems, the company sets the pace by offering solutions for surfacing, cleaning, coating, and edging.
