HOYA Vision Care recently launched a new Learning Centre, with a new Interactive Learning Management System with Exciting Courses, Hot Topics and Completion Rewards Now Available to Accounts.
HOYA Vision Care announced recently the launch of the Hoya Learning Center. “More training and education than ever before are being done online, and learners have high expectations for the quality and interactivity of learning management systems,” said Eduardo Martins, President of HOYA Vision Care, North America. He continued, “This is also an opportunity for our accounts to attract, retain and grow the talent in their practices. We know when practices invest time in their employees, the practice and patients all win.”
The Hoya Learning Center will start with 10 brand new courses. Topics include:
- Basic Optics – Anatomy of the Eye, Physics, Progressive and Single Vision solutions
- Products and Technology – Sync III, Binocular Harmonization Technology, and Integrated Dual Surface Design
- Management and Sales – Selling Multiple Premium Pairs, and Office Hygiene
“With the new Hoya Learning Center (HLC), we will be able to integrate with our CRM system to have single sign-on which will make the transition to learning easier. The HLC has so much potential in what it can and will be able to do,” noted Randy Richardson, Global Vice President of Training & Education. He continued, “What is really exciting is the opportunity to reward staff with certifications, set up learning pathways, create competitions and the ability to socialize through the Learning Center. This will be our one-stop for all development.”
New courses and features will be rolled out on a continuous basis throughout 2021, and customers will be notified via their portal access, sales and customer service representatives.
