Optic India 2016 Concludes Another Edition

The three day exhibition witnessed an impressive footfall with members of the optical trade from all over the country registering their presence

Optic India 2016 emerged as an excellent networking platform for the members of the Indian optical trade. The three day exhibition was inaugurated on January 30, this year. The exhibition was hosted at the CIDCO Exhibition Hall in Navi Mumbai.

From the latest in eyewear collections to optometry instruments, the exhibition saw a diverse range of products being displayed for the visitors. The layout of the exhibition ground encourage the exhibitors to use the available space in innovative ways.

_MG_2994-as-Smart-Object-1Sharing his thoughts on this year’s exhibition, Manish Shah, Managing Director, Ronak Optik India Pvt. Ltd. said, “Even though the accommodation for some of the suppliers is difficult, overall, the shift of location is a good thing and much appreciated.”

When asked about his expectations from this year’s exhibition, Gaurav Gopani, Director, N M Gopani, said, “Each year is new and my only expectation is that it should be better.”

Mukesh Moradia, Managing Director, Pramukh Opticals Pvt Ltd. also echoed the same sentiment regarding the exhibition. Adding further he said, “For this year’s exhibition, we are presenting special collections of Azzaro, BMW and Elvis. We have taken special care to work out the right pricing in order to popularise the products amongst the masses.”

Deepak Panchamia, Managing Director, Pearl Enterprise said “While the shifting of venue is a welcome change, the organisers still need to look into certain technical details like space between two stalls, the air conditioning, etc. However, these are minor flaws, overall the exhibition has been positive. ”

Shailesh Shah, Partner, C L India, said “Initially, I was apprehensive about the response that the exhibition would get this year. However, as the day progressed, I was happy to see the influx of genuine buyers.”

Ronak Sheth, Managing Director, Eternity Lifestyles, also appreciated the venue saying, “In fact, I believe that the turnout of buyers this year is higher than the last year.”
