MOF 2016: Reinventing Business

The upcoming edition of the Malaysian Optical Fair (MOF) is expected to exceed the benchmarks set by its previous edition by emerging as an excellent networking platform for members of the optical trade in the South East Asia region

This will be the second edition of Malaysia Optical Fair (MOF) to be jointly hosted under the collaborative efforts of FOUR main Optical Associations; MAPO, AMO (Association of Malaysian Optometrists), MOA (Malaysian Optometry Association), and MOWA (Malaysian Optical Wholesalers Association).

MOF 2016 is expected to raise the benchmarks after the success of the 2015 edition. In case of MOF 2015, inspite of the fair being organised on a local level, the exhibition hall was completely booked with suppliers from all sectors of the optical trade coming forth in big numbers to participate in the event.

MOF2016MAG_COVER-1According to the organisers, the idea and objective of having ONE fair under the collaboration of FOUR main Optical Associations; MAPO, AMO, MOA & MOWA, was well accepted by all trade participants. In the two days of exhibition, the fair witnessed footfalls from 1350 visitors.

MOF 2016 is scheduled to be hosted in the second week of April. The second edition comes back on popular demand from the local optical trade community and the cooperative participating exhibitors.

MOF 2016 will feature a larger message as compared to its predecessor. Even the exhibition space being made available for the fair is going to be larger than what was seen in the last year.

The upcoming edition of the fair is already creating a lot of hype amongst the members of the optical trade. This can be comprehended from the overwhelming response that the Launching Night of MOF 2016 received.

The entire launch event was a grand success as the hall was once again completely booked. The organisers believe that MOF 2016 is clearly going to emerge as Malaysia’s preferred platform for the members of the optical trade community.

The event is aimed at giving the members of the optical trade, an insight into the trending subjects in the industry. MOF 2016 will also be a good meeting hub for importers, wholesalers, distributors, as well as buyers from leading eye-care practitioners, optical retail outlets, multi-brand optical chain boutiques from all over Malaysia.
