An R that is much more than a sign of distinction. Blackfin reimagines ARC and SLOT, two iconic styles that blazed the design trail of Blackfin sunglasses, exemplifying the brand’s creative and innovative potential. And now, ARC-R and SLOT-R are its evolution.
ARC-R and SLOT-R are, by no means, simple re-editions. Every detail of the two eyewear styles has been reimagined and reworked to reflect the stylistic, design and technical maturity the company has gained over time. The lines have become more angular and defined and the shapes optimised for superior fit, creating the ideal balance between aesthetics, comfort and functionality. Each detail is the product of meticulous design and engineering that elevate this eyewear to a new standard of style.
Even the range of colours reflects Blackfin’s brilliant transformation. Five hues emphasise the styles’ personalities: Blackfin Black, Olympic Blue and Iridescent Grey, an unexpected shimmering finish that fades subtly between grey-green and violet-lilac. Added to these are two numbered Special Editions – Lunar White Gold and Obsidian Black Gold – treated with state-of-the-art Nano-Plating PVD coating.
Crafted inside the Black Shelter Sustainable Factory using a manufacturing process that combines the highest levels of technology and artisan excellence, the two styles will be launched in an exclusive preview at MIDO and be available from April at select optical shops.
