Kering Eyewear Supports 2,000km Dribble By Nozomu Hagihara

Nozomu Hagihara Completes 2,000 km Football Dribbling Mission Across India — Visits Kering Eyewear Office and Dayal Opticals in Gurgaon

Japanese football enthusiast and social changemaker Nozomu Hagihara has officially completed his extraordinary mission: dribbling a football over 2,000 kilometres from Kolkata to New Delhi. This record-setting journey, which began on March 3, 2025, was not just about football—it was a powerful campaign for gender equality, hygiene, and nutrition across India.

As part of his final leg, Nozomu made a meaningful stop in Gurgaon, where he visited the Kering Eyewear Office and Dayal Opticals at MGF Mall.

A Stylish Finish with Maui Jim

Throughout his entire journey—through sun, dust, and long days on the road—Nozomu wore Maui Jim sunglasses, trusted for their advanced polarised lens technology and comfort. These sunglasses became an essential part of his gear, helping him stay focused and protected under the intense Indian sun.

During his visit to the Kering Eyewear Office, Nozomu explored the latest Maui Jim collection and shared his appreciation for the brand on social media.

“Wearing Maui Jim made a real difference—clear vision, sun protection, and a touch of style for the road. Thanks to Kering Eyewear!” – Nozomu Hagihara

Both Kering Eyewear and Dayal Opticals were honoured to support Nozomu’s mission. Their collaboration reflects a shared commitment to well-being, empowerment, and global connection—values that go beyond fashion.

“It was an honour to support Nozomu on his inspiring journey—his spirit reflects everything we stand for at Kering Eyewear.” – Amarbir Singh, Head of India, Kering Eyewear
