Under the shimmering lights of the iconic Dubai World Trade Centre, the global optical fraternity gathered for the spectacular VP Awards 2025, an evening that sparkled with innovation, glamour and heartfelt recognition. This star-studded night brought together the biggest names in the industry for a celebration that was nothing short of extraordinary. Guests embraced the evening in style, many dressed elegantly in the theme colours of golden and emerald green, adding a vibrant, sophisticated touch to the festivities. The 11th edition of the VP Awards opened with a warm and inspiring address by Jasbir Bolar, Marketing Director of VisionPlus magazine and VisionPlus EXPO, setting the tone for an evening charged with pride, passion and purpose.
The spotlight soon shifted to the distinguished panel of judges, whose expertise illuminated the ceremony: Saleh Al Shawa of Al Jaber Optical, Shigil Nair of Aster Opticals, Sabine Volcic, Yasser Qassas, and Kareem Abdul Gawad of Magrabi Optical, Rayan Rouhani of Saudi Optic House, and Mathews Jacob, along with Mushtaq Ahmed of Yateem Opticians. Their presence elevated the ceremony as they presented the prestigious awards, honouring trailblazers across diverse categories.
Adding a burst of laughter and energy, comedian Yash Sharma lit up the stage with a performance that had the audience roaring.

Closing the night on a heartfelt note, Baudouin Sériès, Managing Director Middle East & Africa at ZEISS, delivered a warm vote of thanks.
