When the doors opened at the Dubai World Trade Centre on 17–18 November 2025, VisionPlus EXPO once again proved why it stands among the world’s most influential platforms for the optical and eyewear industry. This year’s show welcomed over 3,856 optical buyers, including an impressive 1,478 international visitors from over 81 countries, a clear testament to the event’s expanding global footprint. From emerging markets to established hubs, the diversity of attendees contributed to an atmosphere rich in insight and opportunity.

The exhibition floor featured 100+ world-class eyewear and optical brands, each bringing their latest collections, advanced technologies and future-ready solutions. Companies from over 15 exhibiting countries, including Austria, China, Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Lebanon, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, the United States and more, illuminated the hall with breakthrough materials, innovation and design language.

From global giants like ZEISS, MEI, Tokai, Hoya, Novar and Schneider, to innovative independents such as Presenta Nova, Idol Optics, Monogram Eyewear and Eyeshaker, exhibitors consistently praised the show’s quality, its strategic location and its continually refined structure. Many highlighted that this year’s move to Dubai World Trade Centre amplified visitor flow, enhanced visibility and brought in a fresh wave of high-potential buyers.

VP Awards & You&Eye Global Opticians Awards
Day one of the expo culminated in a glittering night of celebration—the VP Awards 2025, an evening dedicated to honouring design brilliance, technological progress and retail elegance. Brands were recognised for pushing boundaries and shaping the next wave of eyewear aesthetics and innovation.

Running in sync was the You&Eye Global Opticians Awards, now in its third year, spotlighting outstanding optical retailers from around the world. Together, the two award ceremonies added glamour and depth to the expo experience, reinforcing the industry’s culture of appreciation and aspiration.

Knowledge at the Forefront
A defining feature of this year’s expo was the strengthened VP Academy program. With an impressive lineup of global experts and thought leaders, the sessions provided attendees with actionable insights on market growth, clinical advancements and professional development.

Engagement, Energy and Exciting Experiences
Adding an element of excitement to the show were the interactive engagement activities introduced exclusively for VisionPlus EXPO 2025. The Win-A-Trip campaign drew thousands of entries, culminating in Viwoanou Sylvie Amegavie Ledi of Lady Vision winning an unforgettable Dubai experience. The Gold Mania promotion also returned with great enthusiasm, with delighted visitors winning gold coins after making qualifying purchases.
