MIDO 2025 Registrations And Awards Now Open!

MIDO, the premier international eyewear trade fair, will take place from February 8 to 10 at Fiera Milano Rho, welcoming over 40,000 visitors from 160 countries

Applications are now open for MIDO’s prestigious awards for opticians and exhibitors. Opticians worldwide can register for the historic Best Store Award until January 8.

Celebrating its 10th edition, this award recognises outstanding optical centres in two categories: Design and Innovation.

An international jury comprising design experts and journalists will assess entries based on factors such as shopping experience, store atmosphere, and innovative communication strategies. Last year’s winners included LENETA - Concept Store Optique in Switzerland for Design and Ótica Maxivisão in Portugal for Innovation.

Exhibitors can apply for the CSE Award until December 13, which evaluates sustainability in eyewear products, including frames and cases. Criteria such as material recycling and reduced production impact will guide the jury in selecting winners.

Additionally, MIDO exhibitors have until January 15, 2025, to nominate their stands for the Stand Up For Green Award, recognising the most sustainable exhibition spaces.
