VisionPlus Awards: Voting Lines Open For Opticians Across MENA!

The coveted VisionPlus Awards has entered its final phase as the grand jury meet concluded earlier this month on August 11 in Dubai. Here is a look at the highlights of the grand event and of course the reveal of the shortlisted nominees

Carrying the aspiration to celebrate and reward eyewear, the jury composed of the big names in optical retail chain representatives with their years worth of expertise in the optical industry, helped to rate the best in eyewear. The jury reviewed numerous brands of eyewear across 16 categories of various sunglasses, frames, contact lenses, instruments and more!

With five of the biggest players of the optical retail industry under one roof, the Jury Meet proved to be an excellent opportunity for these representatives to discuss ideas, opportunities and goals for the optical industry - all working towards the shared motive of bringing the industry together.

The esteemed jury comprised of the following: Saleh Al Shawa from Al Jaber Optical, Mathews Jacob accompanied by Mushtaq Ahmed from Yateem Opticians, Abdullah Alsalman and Ahmed Alsalman from Al Salman Optics, Abdel Halim and Afzaal Ahmad from Eye Fashion Optics, Neeraj Dabral and Satendra Singh from Aster Opticals.

The difficult part of the process for the VP Awards has ended with the jury shortlisting numerous brands to a few. Now they have passed the baton to the opticians who will vote to choose the winners that will be felicitated in October!

Who can vote?

The voting application for VP Awards 2022 is open exclusively for eye care practitioners and professionals employed directly or indirectly in the eyewear business in the MENA region.
