As the eagerly awaited VP Awards 2025 (Arabia) enters its decisive stage, the culmination of the Grand Jury Meet in Dubai marked a pivotal moment in the celebration and recognition of elegance in the optical industry. This prestigious event, coveted by eyewear enthusiasts worldwide, has unveiled its shortlisted nominees after a thorough evaluation by a panel of esteemed judges, each a luminary in the optical retail ecosystem. The Grand Jury, comprised of influential figures representing major optical retail chains, convened in Dubai to bring their years of collective expertise to bear on the task of assessing the best in eyewear.

This assembly of industry giants delved into a comprehensive review of numerous eyewear brands spanning 18 categories, including sunglasses, frames, contact lenses, instruments, and more. The rigorous evaluation process aimed to identify the crème de la crème, setting the stage for the forthcoming celebration of elegance.

The illustrious jury included figures synonymous with optical elegance, such as Mr Saleh Al Shawa from Al Jaber Optical, Mr Shigil Nair from Aster Opticals, Ms. Sabine Volcic, Mr Yasser Qassas and Mr Kareem Abdul Gawad from Magrabi Optical, Mr Rayan Rouhani from Saudi Optic House, and Mr Mathews Jacob and Mr Mushtaq Ahmed from Yateem Opticians. This esteemed group played a crucial role in ensuring recognition is bestowed upon the most deserving recipients, underscoring their dedication to excellence and expertise in the optical industry.
