De Rigo has acquired Rodenstock’s eyewear division as part of the company’s strategic plan for international expansion and growth in the premium eyewear market.
The transaction is expected to be completed by mid-2023 and would see De Rigo take full ownership of the Rodenstock Eyewear and Porsche Design Eyewear brands.
De Rigo said the acquisition would reinforce its distribution platform in central Europe, particularly in Germany, and strengthen its sales network through additional resources and expertise.
