The pop icon, Elton John Brings ‘Rocketman’ Style To Cannes Film Festival
The 72-year-old pop icon, known for his over-the-top fashion choices, stepped out at the photo call of his biopic – Rocketman, wearing a blue custom Gucci suit with floral embroidery that read “Rocketman”. He accessorized the outfit with blingy, wide-rimmed, blue sunglasses, also by Gucci.
For the evening’s screening, the showman reached for a second custom look by Gucci. His black Gucci tux with a grosgrain peak-lapel jacket rose to the occasion with a rocket embroidered on the front and the words ‘Rocketman’ spelled out in silver sequins on the back alongside a glittery star.
John completed his look with another pair of glitzy sunglasses, the Gucci Elton John heart-shaped shades with rose-coloured lenses.
