Carl Zeiss held the ExceLens seminar on October 22nd, 2013 at the Leela Kempinski Hotel in Mumbai.
The seminar was hosted by Mr. Heinrich Raub – Senior Manager Training Products, DT&I, Carl Zeiss; who had the audience in a cheerful mood with his humorous speech. The event highlighted the varied range of products offered by Zeiss, while also reiterating the quality of the products that the company has been providing since several years.
The audience was provided with detailed information about the varied ZEISS products like ZEISS Progressive Individual2, PhotoFusion lenses and about the i.Scription Technology, while also discussing the benefits and salient features of these products and technologies.
The event saw the attendance of some prominent people from the Zeiss vision care division, like Dr. Marc Wawerla – Divisional Manager, Vision Care, ZEISS India; Mr. Srinivasan Parthasarathy – National Manager Sales, Vision Care, ZEISS India and Mr. Rahul Khetawat – Head – Marketing, Vision Care, ZEISS India. The evening proceeded along with a very interactive seminar, where even the attendees stood a chance to receive goodies in return of a light Q&A session.
Speaking about the event, Mr Heinrich Raub said, “We appreciate the response the seminar has managed to generate, and I am confident about receiving a favourable feedback in return. It is mainly because we at ZEISS do not believe in selling products through marketing gimmicks. Our products are all well tested and stringently verified for quality, which is why we are well known in the industry.”
The event then concluded with a networking cocktail session, where the guests interacted with the company representatives and officials, while mingling over a sumptuous dinner spread.
