Day 1 was all about premium brands displaying eyewear collections that blended cutting-edge technology with high fashion. Opticians from around the world flocked to this industry hotspot, visiting booths from major players like Albert I’mStein, Anna-Karin Karlsson, Blackfin, Boss, Carrera Ducati, Carolina Herrera, Coburn Technologies, David Beckham, Fossil, Glaskar, Hoya, Hugo, Idee, Levi’s, L.G.R., Linda Farrow, Marc Jacobs, Matsuda, MEI, Minima, Monogram, Palm Angels, ZEISS and many more. The dedicated pavilions from Germany, France, and Italy added a special flair, further elevating the experience for attendees.

Meanwhile, VP Academy became a hub of learning and innovation, with industry leaders sharing their expertise. Highlights included Nilesh Thite’s session on unlocking the potential of contact lens businesses and Neeraj Dabral’s insights into selling luxury brands. Murtaza Ibrahim presented effective strategies for marketing optical practices, covering both traditional and digital methods, followed by a lively panel discussion featuring all the speakers.
After a refreshing lunch, attendees enjoyed a sponsored presentation on lens enhancements by Céline Combrouze of ZEISS, followed by Sheymae Hansali’s insightful session on how AI is transforming customer experiences in eyewear innovations.
