As the eagerly awaited VP Awards 2025 enters its decisive stage, the culmination of the Grand Jury Meet at Novotel World Trade Centre in Dubai marked a defining moment in celebrating and recognising excellence across the optical industry. This prestigious event — coveted by eyewear professionals and enthusiasts worldwide — has revealed its shortlisted nominees following a meticulous evaluation by a panel of esteemed judges, each a respected figure within the optical retail ecosystem.

The Grand Jury, comprising influential leaders from major optical retail chains, gathered in Dubai to combine their wealth of expertise in assessing the very best in eyewear. This distinguished panel undertook a comprehensive review of brands across 18 categories, including sunglasses, optical frames, contact lenses, instruments, and more. Their mission: to identify and honour the industry’s most outstanding contributors.

This year, the VP Awards proudly introduces a brand-new category that reflects one of the most pressing priorities of our time — sustainability. By recognising initiatives that champion eco-friendly innovation, this new award reinforces the industry’s growing commitment to responsible craftsmanship.
