For Fall/Winter 2015-2016, Tom Ford Eyewear offers vintage-inspired styles embellished with modern details. Classic shapes take surprising new architectural forms. Minimalist lines couple with innovative design elements and soft colours contrast with bold shades, resulting in markedly unique looks.

Women’s sunglasses include the Karlie (TF392), an acetate style with a strong rectangular shape enhanced by slender metal rims. It is finished with the Tom Ford metal T wrapping from the frame front to the temples.

Bold contours give the acetate Amy (TF382) a satisfying square shape and an assertive femininity. Contrasting colours on the upper and lower halves of the frame add impact. The Joan (TF0383) fuses two frame fronts, acetate with metal, in a compelling new design with a distinctly architectural look.

Sensual lines and vintage inspirations give Fall/Winter frames an undeniable sense of timeless glamour. Extra bold square rims cut from faceted acetate, cast in subtly nuanced colours, give the Ivana (TF385) a unique feminine allure. In the Gisella (TF388), ultra-round acetate rims take inspiration from the fifties, and then revamp that direction with a new version of the TOM FORD signature criss-cross front. Lola (TF387) pushes the cat eye shape into bold new terrain: an exaggerated acetate shape on the upper frame contrasts with slim metal rims on the lower.

Oversized angles meet glamorous metal in the refreshingly unorthodox Lena (TF391), while head-turning lines takes a different expression in the minimalist Iva (TF0394), whose curvilinear contours contrast with a linear bridge that is yet another new version of the criss-cross front. An extremely bold frame that communicates originality and personal style, the Mila (TF0403), pushes shape and volume to daring extremes, creating a highly original silhouette for an extremely confident woman.

Men’s sunglasses include the Dalton (TF381), a men’s acetate aviator designed with a cutting-edge, collapsible magnetic frame, an innovative integration of style and practicality. The London (TF396) is the epitome of classic masculine elegance, and, as a men’s counterpart to the Karlie, also features the metal T logo on the front and sides.

Sunglasses this Fall/Winter also include two striking unisex frames. The Ryder (TF0418) and Marcello (TF0419) offer two ways to wear metal wraparound frames; assertive-looking and harder edged (Ryder) or suave and slightly curved (Marcello).

The collection also introduces four new frames that feature a notable new technical feature: high-tech Barberini lenses. The last word in optical quality and sun protection, Barberini is one of the world’s most respected lens producers, using proprietary processes to achieve superlative quality. These lenses are used for the unisex Ivan (TF0397), a rectangular-shaped acetate wraparound frame; the bold and slightly unusual-shaped Tyler aviator (TF0398); and the retro-inspired Frank (FT0399) and Lucho (FT400) frames, which take a vintage look and adds some surprising design inspiration in the elongated bridge.

Optical frames for women this season include classic-inspired acetate frames (TF5353 and TF5358) that merge refined style and elegant lines in square or softly rounded versions. More optical frames for the daring Tom Ford woman include the unconventional TF5359 with its surprisingly angular shape and TF5360, which give strong, geometric elements an oversized interpretation.

Optical frames for men include theTF5346, a striking, acetate aviator that creates compelling contrast with an ultra-slender metal bridge. Lightweight metal rims are balanced with an ample acetate frame top in the square and seventies-inspired TF5347, while the TF5350 frame conveys classic and confident retro style with sleek, beta titanium curves. Understated, rectangular-shaped designs for men this season include the TF5351 (acetate with metal temples) and TF5355 (acetate only).
