As the eagerly awaited VP Awards 2024 enters its decisive stage, the culmination of the Grand Jury Meet in Dubai earlier this month marked a pivotal moment in the celebration and recognition of excellence in the optical industry. This prestigious event, coveted by eyewear enthusiasts worldwide, has unveiled its shortlisted nominees after a thorough evaluation by a panel of esteemed judges, each a luminary in the optical retail ecosystem.

The Grand Jury, comprised of influential figures representing major optical retail chains, convened in Dubai to bring their years of collective expertise to bear on the task of assessing the best in eyewear.

This assembly of industry giants delved into a comprehensive review of numerous eyewear brands spanning 17 categories, including sunglasses, frames, contact lenses, instruments, and more. The rigorous evaluation process aimed to identify the crème de la crème, setting the stage for the forthcoming celebration of excellence.

The illustrious jury included figures synonymous with optical excellence, such as Mr Saleh Al Shawa from Al Jaber Optical, Mr Mathews Jacob and Mr Mushtaq Ahmed from Yateem Opticians, Mr Abdullah Hadi A Binrabbaa from Al Badr Optical, Mr Rayan Rouhani from Saudi Optic House, and Ms Dina Jarrar from Aster Opticals. This esteemed group played a crucial role in ensuring recognition is bestowed upon the most deserving recipients, underscoring their dedication to excellence and expertise in the optical industry.

Who Is Eligible To Vote?

The voting application for VP Awards 2024 is open exclusively for eye care practitioners and professionals employed directly or indirectly in the eyewear business in the MENA region.
