Linda Farrow partners with Khaleda Rajab + Fahad Almarzouq for the first time for the Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
To celebrate Linda Farrow’s collaboration with Khaleda Rajab + Fahad Almarzouq the Eye Boutique stores held a very exclusive launch both in Kuwait, on the 9th December 2013, and Dubai, on 12th December 2013.
For the collaboration, a unique shape has been created, where a frame within a frame results in an oversized cat-eye with a double lens. A fun exaggerated shape, this style is not for the faint hearted.
The graphic ‘Cat Eye Mask’ style sunglasses are definitely a style statement, and come in 5 different colour options. Handmade with a thin rounded double frame contour and pointy frame corners, the sunglasses feature a curved silhouette line, with a mid-frame sitting double nose bridge. The frame features slim top-frame attached acetate temples. The glasses are finished with the ‘Khaleda Rajab + Fahad Almarzouq’ and the ‘Linda Farrow Gallery’ logo, printed in signature white on the inverted side of the temple.
Guests were invited to discover the new collection, with the designers on hand, to talk through the eyewear collection during the store events, with an exclusive after party at Movida Dubai.
The event was well attended and the designers were very excited about their foray into eyewear design. “The people at Linda Farrow liked our style and our designs and that’s how it all started. We are very excited about the new design and the sales have been phenomenal,” said the designers.
“We love Eye Boutique and the people at Hassans, they are the best!” they added.
Khaleda and Fahad, the two new designers from the Middle East, have created the latest design for Linda Farrow Collection.
