Hoya Vision Care announced the appointment of Mr Serge Zins as Vice President Asia Pacific based in Singapore.
Serge graduated from the University of Chicago, the USA with a Master of Business Administration and a Master’s in Finance from Burgundy School of Business France.
Serge is a veteran in the eye care sector with 30 years of industry experience, primarily in the Asia Pacific region has held leadership positions in many countries. He brought significant growth in business and strong market positioning by valuing the principles of ECPs being at the heart of the eyewear business. He also led mergers and acquisitions and successfully built a team to run the business subsequently. Serge among many responsibilities in the past has held the position of President – Nikon Essilor for the global market and Chief Compliance Officer of Essilor International establishing strong compliance programs globally.
According to the press release, this announcement reinforces the commitment of Hoya Vision Care to the ECPs in supporting them more than ever and cementing the relationship further with the opticians.
