MYKITA has opened its second shop in Berlin under the roof of the Bikinihaus, an architectural standout in the cityscape of West Berlin
The shop concept of the Berlin store combines the characteristic in-house aesthetic with optometric precision, ensuring a ‘made in Germany’ appeal.
The primary design element of the shop interior is the all-white Mykita Wall. At 31 metres, it is amongst the first free-standing installation with a front and rear display. In addition to the eye-wear collections the shop also features an integrated high-tech lab, the ‘Relaxed Vision Center’ – a special lab equipped with state-of-the-art precision instruments from Carl Zeiss research.
Here, customers can consult MYKITA’s in-house optometrist, who will generate customized optical profiles and perform an exact adaptation of frame and lens to the wearer’s face.
