Rodenstock and distribution partner Dynamed open Concept Shop in the Bulgarian capital city
The success story of Rodenstock Concept Shops continues and was celebrated with the ceremonious opening of the shop in Sofia.
The brand new Rodenstock Concept Shop in the capital city of Bulgaria looked better than good at the official opening at the end of March with Zoya Kudelinski (Rodenstock Area Business Manager) and Georgi Donev (Managing Director and owner of the Rodenstock distributor Dynamed).
The invited guests – including VIPs, politicians and diplomats – were very enthusiastic about the new ophthalmic optics shop in the Rodenstock look & feel, which spans more than 80 square metres.
It is located in an exquisite top location in the “Paradise Center”, the biggest shopping centre in Bulgaria.
The brand new, hot lifestyle centre, which opened its doors for the first time on the same day, has more than 150 shops in almost 200,000 square metres.
Thanks to extensive training of the Dynamed staff by Ms Kudelinski and her team, spectacles wearers got top advice and showed their enthusiasm about the open and clear concept.
Starting Signal for a Successful Working Relationship
Rodenstock sealed the partnership with the Bulgarian distributor Dynamed in January 2013 with an exclusive contract. The Concept Shop is the cornerstone of a successful cooperative venture.
A visit to the Concept Shop on Leopoldstrasse in Munich immediately convinced Mr Donev, owner of the company, so that he jumped right into the planning stage.
More New Openings Planned
The success of the Rodenstock Concept Shop is no coincidence: Opticians who converted their businesses based on the innovative shop construction concept noticed a considerable increase in turnover after just a short time. Therefore, Rodenstock will constantly expand and increase the density of the Concept Shop network. Additional shops in Germany and abroad are to be converted by the end of the year, for example there will be three shops in the Czech Republic.
There are Rodenstock Concept Shops in ten countries so far: Bulgaria, Germany, UK, Croatia, Norway, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Slovenia and the United Arab Emirates.
