Blackfin presents its Autumn/Winter 2016-2017 Collection
Autumn/winter 2016-2017 collection yet again embodies the unique nature of Blackfin featuring original titanium frames, everything all strictly conceived, designed and manufactured in Italy according to the precepts of the neomadeinitaly. Blackfin Skin has a bas-relief pattern carved by photoengraving the titanium to produce a light yet solid woven effect, creating a play of symmetries enhanced by the polished finish that emphasises their contrasts.
There are two patterns to choose from, a kaleidoscopic one, the other resembling zebra skin. This revolutionary way of working titanium is truly one of a kind. The new spectacle frames Camden BF762 and Loven BF777 for women have the skin pattern on the front. One frame features soft, curvaceous lines and the other is larger and squarer with slender temples. The two-tone colour combinations vary from the autumnal mood of Bordeaux/mallow or opaque purple/brown to the more lively pairings of burgundy/rose or fluorescent sky blue/grey-brown.
New designs for sunglasses and spectacle frames favour rounded unisex lines. Model Kapp Lee BF776 features a double bridge, teamed with a slender, lightweight structure. In the dark brown or bright red versions, some style details are picked out in mirror-finish polished natural titanium with super-high- tech appeal. Model Saint Martin BF769 also has a double bridge but with more ample, curved lines, with either a natural polished or satin titanium finish.
The slightly eccentric but stylish Montego Bay BF774 owes its ancestry to the best-seller Pearson BF730. Its chunky rounded shape makes it the perfect model for strong personality eyewear lovers. The range of colours completes the experience, ranging from metallic tones, such as red/pink, to opaque colours, such as chalk white/dove grey.
All Blackfin frames are made of titanium and beta-titanium with Swordfish temple tips, a company patent, whose break-off guides make it possible to shorten the temples in three simple moves.
