Made using real leaves, and with special focus on saving the environment, David Green Eye-wear is truly ‘going green’
David Green eye-wear is crafted by hand, by using processes and materials that are required to meet their stringent prerequisite criteria. Natural cotton-based acetate produced in Italy is selected for properties of comfort and long lasting finish.
The coatings are selected based on their RoHS certification that ensures no harmful substances have been used in production. Factory water is recycled. Hinges and components are sourced from Austria and nose pads from Germany – all this to achieve a superior quality product.
A unique non-toxic silicone is chosen for temples that boast a special property of not sliding down the nose, especially when wearing eye-wear during sport. It frequently takes David and his design teams a year of preparation and trial before a frame is well thought out and launched to market.
Made with real leaves
Each pair of handcrafted David Green eye-wear contains a unique fingerprint created by the incorporation of a fallen leaf within the natural cotton based acetates, adding additional style to the design and exacting finishes.
