In December 2013, Tonino Lamborghini launched its latest line of sunglasses, exclusively at Paris Gallery.
The luxury brand has extended the concept of luxury to products that have the power to conjure up an aesthetic dominated by passion for engines and uncompromising design. Among the outstanding features of this new eyewear line are the innovative and advanced materials used: carbon fibre and titanium.
The titanium decoration on the temples, brand-iconic element and leitmotif of the collection is directly inspired by the door-handle design on vintage luxury sports cars. The sunglasses are set with Carl Zeiss vision lenses with exclusive antiglare treatments, perfectly reducing the internal surface image glare and offering the best comfort in every light condition.
The collection contains models that feature combinations of two ultralight materials: titanium and carbon. It also contains models that flaunt an unmistakably distinctive style featuring an innovative combination of acetate fronts and wooden arms.
The wood used on the arms is walnut from the eastern area of central South America, treated and protected with dark walnut wax. Lastly, it contains full-carbon sunglasses that are made using seven layers of fibre with different densities and weave directions. The collection is exclusively available at Paris Gallery.
