The eyewear model won the Vision-X VP Award for Best New Spectacle Frame (Luxury Segment)
The very first edition of the Vision-X VP Awards – a joint initiative between VisionPlus Arabia Magazine and the organisers of Vision-X Dubai, aimed at recognising the best products in the optical industry, was held in a grand ceremony on 25th November, 2014, during the first day of the Vision-X trade show in Dubai. Introduced as a new concept, the awards received an overwhelming response in terms of participation from some of the leading brands in the optical industry across the globe. The awards were hosted amidst a lot of excitement and fun that filled the evening as the winner’s league of the optical industry could be seen gleaming with pride.
One of the award winners was Tag Heuer’s L-Type T Limited Edition eyewear, which won the Vision-X VP Award for Best New Spectacle Frame (Luxury Segment). The Amico team received the award from Uday Shrikantiya from Rivoli EyeZone, who was also one of the jury members of the Vision-X VP Awards.

Handmade in France, the L-Type T Limited Edition features the most exclusive materials coupled with patented technology to bring forth the essence of the Tag Heuer DNA. Soft calfskin leather is hand turned and overstitched on the exterior of the temples with 18 carats solid gold threads to showcase utmost quality. Elastomer is deployed on the inside of the temples to ensure comfort and exceptional hold. Tag Heuer signature is subtly embossed on the leather so as to manifest an understated presence.
