100% Optical Confirms More Brands For Its ‘STUDIO AREA’ Than Ever Before

100% Optical’s ‘studio area’, the place to find luxury, unique and independent frames, now has more eye-catching eyewear brands confirmed to exhibit than ever before

To champion independent eyewear designers, 100% Optical has curated a selection of must-see brands in this ultra-cool industrial space in the heart of the Eyewear zone – essential viewing for boutique practices seeking a point of difference.

All exhibitors in the studio area pride themselves on quality, handmade and bespoke frames, using futuristic designs.

Top brands exhibiting at the UK’s biggest optical event include Bellinger, designers of high-quality eyewear for those who like to stand out; Coral Eyewear, whose stylish, eco-friendly frames use recycled fishing nets and post-consumer plastics, and Bevel, unique eyewear in stunning colours, designed in NYC, handcrafted in Japan. Additional brands that will be featuring are Blake Kuwahara and Kaleos, who reinvent the concept of contemporary glasses, combining design, fashion and luxury.

As well as the opportunity to browse and sample a variety of designs and frames, visitors will also be able to take part in one-to-one discussions with suppliers, to learn about their brand and find out more about the frames unique materials. Visitors can even learn how to make frames themselves with hands-on activities at the Dispensing Workshop feature, which is sponsored by Dunelm.

There are hundreds of product launches taking place at the show and these can be visualised through three shows a day on the 2020 catwalk, sponsored by Transitions. Surprise flash mobs, supplier happy hours and a large Saturday night party sponsored by William Morris all add to what promises to be an action-packed three days.
