In continuing its strategic global expansion, Marchon Eyewear, Inc. has announced the opening of a new regional office in Singapore. The establishment of a subsidiary in Singapore enables Marchon to have direct and prominent presence for its portfolio of brands in this globally significant Southeast Asian city. Marchon is projected to be one of the leading players in this region as the eyewear market continues to grow.

The new office will include a sales and marketing force of approximately 10 employees, led by Connie Lai, Managing Director Asia Pacific of Marchon Eyewear. In addition, the office and regional expansion will be overseen by Nicola Zotta, Managing Director EMEA of Marchon Eyewear since 2009, who has been recently charged with managing the entire Asian region. Operational activities such as logistics and IT will be supported by Marchon’s regional headquarters in Hong Kong.

“The economy in Singapore has been growing rapidly since gaining its independence in 1963, and as a result, the country has now one of the highest GDP per capita in the world. Singapore continues to be a key shopping destination for luxury goods, thus reinforcing our presence in this strategically important region,” says Claudio Gottardi, President and CEO of Marchon Eyewear.
