Vision-X is clearly an opportunity to profit from the €2.4 billion Middle East Optical Industry. On a record, 50% of exhibitors in 2015v generated sales over US $200,000.
With more than 4,000 buyers from 70 countries attending, optical industry in the Middle East is set to grow to great heights, forecasting a high demand for contact lenses and spectacles. During the show, the Turkish pavilion saw the number of exhibitors doubled, while there was a strong representation of exhibitors from Germany, Italy and South Korea showcasing a wide range of products.
The Vision-X opticare conference ran alongside the three-day exhibition and was held in cooperation with the International Association of Contact Lens Educators and the European Academy of Optometry and Optics.
