Essilor South Asia has announced new roles in its senior management team. Raghavan NS takes on the role of Country Manager and Narasimhan Narayanan takes on the role of Senior Vice President.
Essilor International, has announced a round of senior appointments to its South Asia leadership team.
Raghavan NS takes on responsibilities as Country Manager for Essilor South Asia region. He will be responsible for growing the company’s business in the region, support the group mission activities, build a strong relationship with key stakeholders and direct the strategic growth part for this very important market for Essilor.
Raghavan has taken on roles with increasing responsibilities in his 15 years stint with Essilor, ranging from heading regional Sales, heading marketing for India & was instrumental in building Crizal as a strong consumer brand and most recently supporting Essilor’s strategic joint venture businesses. Raghavan will also be part of the AMERA operating committee in his new responsibilities. “With Raghavan’s demonstrated leadership abilities supporting the group in the region, we look forward to exciting times for the business in South Asia”, said Bernhard Nuesser, President Essilor AMERA and Global Head for Online and Digital initiatives.
Raghavan based in Bengaluru will report to Mr Narasimhan Narayanan, Senior Vice President for Essilor South Asia and Head of Finance & M&A for Essilor AMERA region covering Asia, Middle East, Africa, Russia and Turkey and a member of the AMERA Operating committee.
“Mr Narasimhan is tasked with supporting the South Asia team to achieve the ambitions that we have set for the business. He joined Essilor in 2013 and is currently based in Singapore. At Essilor, we keep on expanding on our legacy of more than 100 years as a trusted partner to all our key stakeholders in South Asia. We are delighted to promote Mr Narasimhan. With his tremendous experience across functions and blue-chip organizations divisions, he will play a pivotal role in supporting the South Asia team to accomplish its commitments to support the group mission activities and business development in the region”, said Bernhard Nuesser.
