Raj Optical Trade and Industry (ROTI), launch their official website

Raj Optical Trade and Industry (ROTI), a society registered in the state of Rajasthan launched their official website which they dedicated to the optical fraternity. The launch event was organized in presence of eminent personalities like S Jasmeet Singh (President of Haryana Optical Association), Dr Anant Sharma (President of International Consumer’s Action and Network and renowned name in consumer protection) and Mr Arvind Ubha (President of Bikaner Chashma Vikreta Sangh). The launch was attended by the esteemed opticians of Jaipur and was also broadcasted live through the official youtube channel of the organization. The event was supported by the Jaipur Zila Opticians Association (JZOA) by making it a part of their Annual General Meeting.

The foundation of ROTI dates to May 1, 2020, when the members from JZOA came up with the idea of bringing a body that will have a vision of the overall development of the optical fraternity. An idea born from a small discussion between Mr Mukul Bhargava, Mr Amit Khandelwal, Mr Deepak Khandelwal and Mr Vikas Bhargava found its leadership under the wisdom of Mr Surendra Khanna. The team then brought in Mr Niranjan Rathi to hold the key position of the General Secretary of the organization who brought in zeal and enthusiasm in the organization to make it grow even in the difficult times of COVID-19.

The team laid principles of democratic working in the organization. Within a span of seven months, the organization expanded its roots in 20 out of 33 districts of Rajasthan.

Mr Amit Khandelwal in his short introduction about ROTI mentioned that they have been fortunate to have Mr Khanna and Mr Rathi as the flag bearers of this organization and how walking in their footsteps has been leading the organization towards its goal. ROTI today looks ahead towards bringing a positive change in the optical industry and working at a grass root level for the betterment of the members of the optical fraternity. Mr Rathi mentioned that the benefits of ROTI are not restricted only to the members of the organization but ROTI keeps its doors open for all from within or beyond the optical world.

Mr Jasmeet Singh shared his wise words in which he beautifully connected the concept of harmandir (abode of god) with the business run by the opticians. Dr Anant Sharma intrigued opticians to the practices of consumer welfare and to understand the vitality of their duties towards the profession. President of Optical Association of Bikaner, Mr Arvind Ubha, who also moderated the launch event shared the experiences of his journey in the field of the optical world.

The live video broadcast was made available for the members of the optical fraternity from across the country who came forward in support of the society’s vision.

President of the society, Mr Surendra K. Khanna shared the vision of creating Raj Optical Trade and Industry. He also shared a brief of how society intends to bring a positive change in the optical fraternity. Mr Niranjan Rathi, General Secretary shared words on the core values of the society and how the society has been brought to existence. Mr Amit Khandelwal and Mr Mukul Bhargava talked about the upcoming chain of events from the pandora box of ROTI and the direct benefits that a person shall reap as a member of society.

The launch came to an end with a delectable lunch hosted by JZOA at the hotel in which the event was organized and the positivity of coming up with much more than what was talked about.
