Mumbai-based Shailaja Optical Industries has signed an exclusive agreement to distribute Daniel Hechter’s eyewear in India. Daniel Hechter is a fashion brand based in Paris. The brand blends French savoir faire with sporty elegance to create eyewear styles that convey urban chic.
It was in 1962 that French designer Daniel Hechter made a foray into the fashion world and the brand celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2012. The collection from the brand includes a mix of oversized sunglasses, half rim optical designs as well as colourful acetate frames in interesting shapes.
