The 47th edition of Silmo was held from September 26-29, 2014 in Paris. The highlight of the event was the Silmo d’Or, an innovation prize that rewards the technological innovation and creativity of an entire profession. The entries for the prize were shortlisted by specialised juries, and the shortlisted products were then further evaluated by a Grand Jury consisting of 8 members (experts in every category, big international buyers and journalists) and the Silmo President, and the winners were selected from them.
