Leading the launch is the Meta Glasses by Kylie, also known as the Starfire, co-designed with Kylie Jenner.
Unlike the brand’s previous Ray-Ban collaborations, the new collection has been developed under Meta’s own name and includes three styles: the Adventurer, Fury and the Starfire. While the Adventurer and Fury offer classic rectangular and bold square shapes, the Starfire reflects Jenner’s signature style with a slim oval cat-eye silhouette.
Available in black and tortoiseshell, the frame features a discreet crystal detail placed beside the built-in camera, inspired by the flash of paparazzi cameras. Jenner also worked with the design team to introduce an adjustable metal nose bridge, making the frame more comfortable to wear and easier to clean. Even the charging case has been given a lifestyle touch with an integrated mirror.
The Starfire carries the same technology as the rest of Meta’s latest smart eyewear range. It features a 12MP camera capable of recording 3K video, open-ear speakers for music and calls, up to eight hours of battery life, live translation in 20 languages, Meta AI access through a dedicated action button and compatibility with prescription lenses.
The Kylie edition adds one exclusive feature, allowing users to interact with Meta AI using Kylie Jenner’s voice.
The launch reflects how quickly smart eyewear is evolving beyond technology into fashion. With designer-inspired styling and everyday functionality in equal measure, Meta’s latest collection is aimed at consumers looking for connected eyewear that feels as natural to wear as a favourite pair of sunglasses.
