Elegant and refined eyewear collection by Max Mara is what you should be looking at
The latest collection showcases different models of eyewear, or should we say masterpieces!
The EILEEN I sunglasses draw inspiration from the villa built by celebrated designer Eileen Gray in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, a true masterpiece of modernism and femininity. The model, entirely crafted from metal, features rounded lenses with bold volumes, a double bridge, and unique arched plastic inserts between the metal rim and the lens. The frame perfectly reflects Eileen’s iconic graphism: concentric circles interrupted by straight lines, the utmost expression of pure, simple, and essential geometries.
The ILDE V sunglasses have a round shape enclosed by a fine metal rim.
The inside of the temples flaunts a distinctive enameled finish recalling the colour of the lenses, in delicate nuances of pink, light blue, and grey.
The MM 1337 optical frame also features a metal construction, characterised by a drop shape with a double bridge. The colourways include copper gold with black enameled inside of the temples and light gold with ivory enameled inside of the temples. The iconic Prism detail – the signature element of the collection and a symbol of the Max Mara woman – comes to life by joining the temple tips in both models.
The FLAT I sunglasses enthrall with their exquisitely feminine, retro-inspired, soft cat-eye shape. The use of high-density acetate lends an ultra-lightweight feel to the model, while the temples are adorned with a metal version of the Prism detail and with an acetate insert on the initial part of the temples in contrasting hues with the front. Available in three colourways: total black with grey lenses and Havana inserts, blue horn with grey lenses and black inserts, and brown horn with blue lenses and inserts.
