Drawing inspiration from plays on proportion, cosmetic pastels and the eternally-stylish 70s, Linda Farrow’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection is a diverse and adventurous exploration of fashion eyewear.
This season introduces 20 new styles of sunglasses and 7 new optical styles, featuring acetate, metal and Linda Farrow’s unique snakeskin-covered frames. The brand also introduced a trio of colour stories: classic acetates in black, tortoiseshell and horn; mutated tonals in mink, mahogany and almond; and sun-bleached summer pastels with custom-matched snakeskins, shades of mint, milky pink and lilac, combined with classic and mirrored lenses to match or contrast.
The 70s are evoked in classic aviators, beveled lenses and angled frames in palettes of neutrals and sugared-almond shades. The classic shapes sport highly-refined details, acetates featuring multi-faceted bevelling and high polish, to give depth and lustre.
A superlative collection that redefines the meaning of luxury eyewear for 2014.
