Christian Dior’s latest installment for its Secret Garden advertising campaign features the edgy fashionista Rihanna wearing limited edition DiorSoReal sunglasses shot in the garden of Versailles
The glamorous Secret Garden campaign of the French fashion house Dior took to its fourth chapter with the display of limited edition DiorSoReal sunglasses perfectly carried out with an elan by songtress and fashion icon Rihanna.
In the campaign, Rihanna struts through the area of Versailles wearing the limited edition of DiorSoReal sunglasses, featuring a blue metalised metal frame and dark Havana temples, with blue linear mirrored lenses and translucent blue eyebrows. With the deconstructed pantos shape, DiorSoReal sunglasses combine revolutionary design of sophisticated architectural lines with a fashion flair.
The advertising campaign was shot by fashion photographer Steven Klein in the chateau and garden of Versailles; a film that celebrates King Louis XIV’s concept of indoor/outdoor garden, with lavish mirrors inside that are said to attract the garden from outside, creating the most modern secret garden of all.
Featuring the lightweight metal frame and slander acetate, the DiorSoReal sunglasses come with linear mirrored lenses that insure 100% UV protection. For 2015, the colour palette includes total of 12 colors, available in pink, black, crystal/blue, blue marine/pink, gold and so on. The campaign is also first of its kind to explore Versailles at night time playing to the tune of “only if for a night”, an intro to a song of Rihanna’s new album.
