The Vision-X VP awards programme which are scheduled to be held in Dubai in November 2014 will be executed over three stages.
Stage 1 Entry Submissions
The first step is Entry Submissions. In this stage, brands and their distributors are invited to enroll their leading products for any of the 15 distinct categories. The forms can be downloaded from www.vxvp-awards.com and also can be sourced directly from VisionPlus or Vision-X representatives. Each entry has to be submitted at the VisionPlus office along with individually filled forms as well as a physical product to be examined at the nomination stage by the judging panel.
Stage 2 Nominations
Nominations will be judged according to a clear set of criteria by a select panel of leading independent industry experts. The nominated products will then be available for online voting from all professionals in the optical business.
Stage 3 Voting by Eye-care Professionals
Following the nominations from October 1, 2014, online voting options will be made open to eye-care practitioners across the MENA region. Printed ballot forms will be available for those not comfortable with online voting. Winners will be announced based on votes.
Finally, the awards will be presented to the winners at a special event on the conclusion of the first day (November 25, 2014) of the `Vision-X’ exhibition at Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE.
