Mr Amod Gogate, Associate Director, Professional Affairs, Johnson & Johnson Vision Care has been chosen as Jury Member for ZEISS ‘YOU&EYE’ AWARDS 2019 to be held on Nov 24, 2019
Amod Gogate, graduated from AIIMS in 1987, and had 16 years of Optometry and family Optical business experience. He headed the team which established B.Optom and M.Optom. courses at the Bharati Vidyapeeth University Medical College in Pune in the year 1998.
He was awarded Best Optometrist of the year in 1997 by Indian Optometric Association. He is also Fellow of British Contact Lens Association. In 2006, Mr Amod joined Johnson and Johnson Vision Care team and is currently Associate Director of as head of their Professional Education.
Mr Amod has been a part of the industry for about 3 decades now, and has an abundance of knowledge and experience of the industry.
He will be a Jury Member for the category of Clinical Support, with the 4 others. Mr Amod holds the authority to assess the technology and equipment used by participating opticians as well as the staff appointed by them for the benefit of the customers. He sure has an eye for the best and this will help in choosing the best optical organisation, practicing the best ways to provide clinical support to their customers.
