With more than 4,000 buyers from 70 countries attending, optical industry in the Middle East is set to grow to great heights, forecasting a high demand for contact lenses and spectacles. During the show, the Turkish pavilion saw the number of exhibitors doubled, while there was a strong representation of exhibitors from Germany, Italy and South Korea showcasing a wide range of products.
Additionally, many major brands and luxury names displayed their latest trendy designs. Visitors were exposed to the very latest in cutting-edge design, technology and innovation at Vision-X, with dedicated areas such as the Future in Focus and Retail Theatre for business owners and managers to improve their operations.
The Vision-X opticare conference ran alongside the three-day exhibition and was held in cooperation with the International Association of Contact Lens Educators and the European Academy of Optometry and Optics.
