The company has opened a new office in Dubai’s healthcare city
At the opening of the 40th Arab Health, the main exhibition for the healthcare industry in the EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) region, the Medical Technology business group of ZEISS opened a new office in Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC).
On the occasion of the opening, ZEISS and the branch of the Moorfields Eye Hospital located in Dubai entered into a close partnership in the area of ophthalmologists’ training for the region. This hospital will also be used as a reference centre for ZEISS ophthalmic products in the future.
“Over the last number of years, Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) has become an extremely important location for the healthcare industry which is renowned far beyond Dubai. This is why we deliberately chose the location of the new office right in the DHCC – bringing us closer to the customers of this growth region,” said Thomas Simmerer, Member of the Management Board of Carl Zeiss Meditec AG with responsibility for sales, during his welcome speech to invited guests.
