The British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) will be giving visitors to Optrafair, at the NEC Birmingham from 13-15 April, the chance to win a fantastic prize and benefit from six free months of BCLA membership.
A special offer of 18 months of BCLA membership for the price of 12 will be available for visitors who sign up at the BCLA stand (CL08) on any of the three days.
A great prize will be up for grabs in the BCLA stand prize draw competition, with plenty of information available about the Association’s expansive ranges of membership benefits and resources – including the new ‘BCLA to go’ CET workshop initiative, BCLA Online, member loyalty scheme and free scientific evening meetings.
The BCLA team will also be on hand to discuss some new projects in the pipeline designed to provide even better value for all members – from students to optometrists to contact lens opticians at home and abroad.
BCLA Marketing Manager, Jashan Bahia, explained: “We are currently working on some very exciting projects designed to enhance value and services for all of our members. These include a re-ignition of the BCLA brand, greater support for members in practice and business, and a brand new BCLA website creating an online community space and forum for members to network and share knowledge.
“Come and visit us at Optrafair to find out more,” added Jashan.
BCLA Faculty Speaker and Council member, Susan Bowers, will be presenting at 4.30pm during the Contact Lenses Session in the Education Theatre on Sunday 14 April. Her CET talk is entitled, ‘Paediatric contact lenses: the treatment of anisometropic amblyopia’.
