Born out of curiosity of two kids almost 30 years back, this brand has now turned into a popular and respected fast-growing global company for protective eyewear!
30 Years ago, Wiley X owners Dan Freeman and Myles Freeman, Jr. were just kids sweating summers off in the warehouse, helping their dad out with his small but innovative protective eyewear company.
Their father, Myles Freeman Sr. – a military veteran – started Wiley X with the aim to protect the eyes of soldiers. While Wiley X remains a major supplier of eyewear and gloves to military forces around the world, it has since become a burgeoning outdoor lifestyle and sports brand.

In 1987, Wiley X, Inc. began its quest to become a world leader in the research, development and marketing of protective eyewear and gloves for military, law enforcement and civilian markets. 2016: Wiley X™ expands the European branch office to include service and management of Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
