Since arriving on the scene a year ago from Maui Jim, MauiPure™ – the world’s clearest non-glass lens – has become the sunglass lens-of-choice for outdoor enthusiasts whose activities demand optical purity combined with lightweight scratch and impact resistance.
Whether you’re at a beachside wedding, strolling along the boardwalk or wanting to make a lasting impression at a job interview, Small Kine (Style #251) and Hawaiian Time (Style #252) make big statements.
Taking their cues from the best retro-fashion playbooks, these aviators will punch up your look with a classic combination of tortoise or black acetate details, rimmed in pure titanium. Offering the best in lightweight, all-day comfort, these sunglasses offer the option of a classic teardrop shape or a more contemporary squared design, both of which are sized for smaller faces.
Maui Jim is the world’s only company to protect your eyes with up to nine layers of glare-cutting, UV-eliminating and color-enhancing technology so that you see the world more beautifully. The company’s patented PolarizedPlus2® lens technology and MauiGradient™ tinting cut 99.9 percent of glare and block 100 percent of harmful UV rays from above, below and behind each lens. A distinguishing feature of Maui Jim lenses is the rich and vibrant color that you see. This is the result of using three rare earth elements and other treatments to white-balance Maui Jim’s lenses, so the colors you see are pure and true.
Both Small Kine and Hawaiian Time are 6-base styles with adjustable silicone nose bridges and anticorrosive traditional hinges. Small Kine has an eye size of 54 mm, bridge size of 20 mm, and temple length of 137 mm. This style comes in Gloss Black with Neutral Grey lenses for bright sunny days. It is also available in Antique Gold or Gold Satin with HCL® Bronze lenses that improve vision in variable light conditions. Hawaiian Time has an eye size of 56 mm, bridge size of 21 mm, and temple length of 137 mm, and is available in Gloss Black with Neutral Grey lenses or Antique Gold with HCL Bronze lenses. The MauiPure collection is covered by the company’s standard warranty.
