Exhibitors and the organisers had much to celebrate at the conclusion of Optic India 2020 as business was brisk with much to show for it at the end of the day.

The show is held under the aegis of Mumbai Optical Association and organised by RSD Expositions.
Many companies had chosen the premier international trade fair and exhibition in ophthalmic optics to launch their new products, brands and collections in the country, and were very pleased indeed with the response and the many first-time customers. These outcomes reiterated the event’s standing among professionals and companies as an invaluable platform for business prospects.

Parallel events of substance

Details about the programme are also covered in the issue of The Indian Optician.
It was a great idea to include a blood donation camp at the exhibition. This was a fine joint initiative of RSD Expositions, The Indian Optician and Monarch Enterprises, and a first such camp at Optic India. The organisers tied up with the Reliance Group’s blood bank to set up the camp, strategically located opposite the registration counter for visitors. It was a spacious set up with six beds, ample seating for 30 to 35 people, and good hospitality shown to the camp team members by the RSD team, who ensured they were well looked after with breakfast and lunch. At the conclusion of the fair it was heartening to note that a good number of blood donors had come forward in spite of their busy schedules.
