Opti 2014 – Secure your tickets and be perfectly prepared
Even at this early stage, opti 2014 is relying on a complete range of services. From discounts for those traveling to Munich and luggage service for Lufthansa passengers to the online catalogue and the opti app: The international trade show for optics & design gives trade visitors several ways to ensure that they are perfectly prepared. Online tickets for opti from 10 to 12 January 2014 are now available at www.opti.de/en/tickets.
Advance ticket sales for opti started in September of this year. This allows visitors to purchase their tickets early and begin preparing for their visit to the trade show in Munich without having to rush. As in the past, visitors can purchase their tickets online at www.opti.de/en/tickets and print them out at home. Doing so saves them the trouble of waiting in line and up to 7 Euro compared to buying their tickets at the fairgrounds. Those who want to redeem vouchers for one-day tickets can use the same address.
Flights to opti
opti exhibitors and visitors can enjoy special fares for their flights to Munich. For example, Lufthansa is offering discounts of up to ten per cent on airfares (additional information at www.opti.de/en/lufthansa) as well as a special extra service at the Lufthansa counter at the show: On the day of their departure, the airline’s guests can go there to check their luggage, which will then be taken directly to their plane. As in the past, passengers of all airlines can take advantage of free shuttle-bus service from the airport to the fairground. Busses depart from the Munich airport and from Entrance North of the fairground Messe München every 30 minutes. Incidentally, the Munich airport offers the best connections to destinations throughout Europe and beyond. Approximately 100 airlines provide regular service to more than 240 destinations in 68 countries.
To ensure that everyone is thoroughly prepared, the trade show in Munich is offering appropriate packages for all visitors and exhibitors that they can call up at www.opti.de/en as of this fall. For example, the online catalogue will allow visitors to gather information about exhibitors, products, brands and contacts before the trade show even begins. The opti organizer supports appointment management and has a note-taking and news function. Among other things, the opti app and the mobile catalogue give users access to hall plans, information about exhibitors, a stand finder and an organizer on their smartphones or tablet computers for when they are on the go.
